BASF and MERKS Strategic Collaboration Grows!

In the meetings held at BASF Headquarters , Merks Construction Chemicals clarified the roadmap for new initiatives that will deepen the scope of the strategic partnership, increase business volume, and create shared value.

The Merks Construction Chemicals team focused on expanding the collaboration between the two companies during meetings held at BASF Headquarters. The two-day sessions focused on growth scenarios, service models that deliver end-to-end value to customers, and methods for streamlining processes. The parties demonstrated strong alignment on shared vision, quality approach, and operational excellence.
The main topics on the meeting agenda included details on improving the technical specifications of existing products , steps to be taken to add new product lines to the portfolio, and plans for the implementation of new products . In this context, the establishment of joint working groups, systematic sharing of knowledge and experience, and support for teams through mutual training programs were adopted. This aims to facilitate agile progress and faster time-to-market for new projects.
Integrating digitalization, traceability and data-based decision-making processes into joint projects were also among the shared priorities.
Focusing on customer satisfaction and service quality, the key priorities were improving delivery reliability, strengthening after-sales support processes, and developing transparent communication channels. The parties agreed in principle to launch pilot projects in the coming period, jointly evaluate the results, and plan scaling steps.
